Did you know Star Wars has been celebrating 40 years since the first movie came out? We have so many Star Wars fans here at school that it is a great opportunity to join in the world wide celebrations too.
Come on in and see the library display and heaps of new Star Wars books which will be available next week.
There is also a chance to win a Star Wars cook book and cookie shape cutters or some other prizes. If you happen to win the cook book, I know the librarian would love do some taste testing for you. Just saying!
To perhaps win the book all you have to do is write a poem or haiku about Star Wars. It could be about the characters, aliens, flying through space or anything spacey. Bring your poem to the library and add it to others on the window. Don’t forget to put your name and room number on your poem.
